this stupid bike will never be ridden

this is just pointless.  i bike like that will never be ridden.  as someone brought up in the comments, it's a trophy wife indeed.  say what you want about colnago's, but most of those things had the shit ridden out of them in the 70's and 80's.  richard sachs used to make racing bikes.  all those billions of aluminum cannondales that were pounded into the dust, and nowdays those crappy plastic giant racing bikes, those things get ridden, and that's what they're for.  that 11 lb. bike is a sad joke.
