look yonder mayor richard daley

bill daley's failure as chief of staff is a wonderful thing for the country.  it's not exactly a direct victory for the occupy movement, but when you see a corporatist apparatchik former investment banker crash and burn as one of the most powerful men in the government, it is a fine day for the 99%.  daley is a vile character; choosing him was another colossal fuck-up for obama, but it might work out for the rest of us.
