Just for Fun: Cynthia McKinney

Paul Craig Roberts does his best to redeem himself with this piece on Cynthia McKinney.  In the middle of all the nonsense about voting for Obama or else, McKinney's story is especially useful because she was one of the truly liberal members of congress and was run out of town by the Democratic party and the media because of it.  The Democrats, and their lickspittles up and down the establishment media, have no use at all for anyone who is not a rock-ribbed right winger and American oligarchy fluffer in the mold of George W. Bush and Barack Obama.  All the fringe politics are designed to do is distract from the self-evident workings of a one-party United States where the Democrats and Republicans play intramurals in order to entertain the rubes while the business gets done far beyond their understanding or participation.  This bullshit from Slate is a perfect example of toady lies from the entry-level establishment media and how they did their part to remove McKinney from Washington.
