The Womens And The Marrieds And The Mary Janes

Last night, a few high-profile races were won by fairly liberal women making this election a real watershed event for the expansion of American political franchise.  Left-of-average Democrats are not bad, and when they are women that's better.  I will have years to be disappointed by careers of Elizabeth Warren and Tammy Baldwin, but for now they are real upgrades from the douchebags they are replacing.  Tammy Duckworth, Mazie Hirono, Heidi Heitkamp join the highest number of women elected to Congress.  It's something.  And finally the American electorate has pulled its head out of its ass and voted in four states to welcome our homosexual friends to the wonderful world of homosexual divorce.  Divorce Marriage Equality should be so fucking obvious, but up until now the inherent dickish ignorance running around loose out there was enough to prevent ballot victories.  That's over now and soon enough we will begin to unravel the prejudice and discrimination that plague our modern American culture.  Marriage and lots of other Equalities will be falling into place quickly now.  That's something, too.  Plus a few places took a small step to undo the Prohibition and War On Some Drugs.  That's fine, and enjoy your Cheetos and Goldfish crackers, crackers.
