Loam Gold? Loam Gold?? The New Sentinel Looks Great, But Someone Please Remind Transition Bikes About Bridgestone's Colors For Bikes
K! Thanx. The new Transition Sentinel is fucking sweet--even though it's a plastic big-wheel bike, but hey, it's the 21st century out there--but hoh lee shitt, Transition is sucking hard on the colors of these bikes. Loam gold on this one and that gross green turd color on the new Scout are not doing the brand any favors. I get that maybe they don't give a shit, but if they took the lesson of Bridgestone to heart, well, they'd be better off. Red, purple, white, yellow, green, orange, blue, black; basic colors can work pretty good, and the Bridgestone picks were all good. (Bridgestone bikes were never about the frakking color.) Silver is nice, too. That titanium grey on the Sentinel is not, though. It would be fine if the bike used actually titanium tubing, of course. A simple, basic color palette is fine and way better than these dumb ugly colors Transition is wedded to these days. If you want to go ugly, that's cool, too, but then you gotta go full-on sublimely awful and go way more nuts than Transition is right now. Transition colors were better even last year, the blue, the orange, the wine red were all okay. Not the best, but better. I'm sure that the new 2021 Patrol is going to be brown. Great.
