Reminder That Cuba Is Producing Its Own COVID Vaccines--And Will Be Making Them Available To The World--Without Even Seeking The Approval Of Bill Gates

Cuba did not wait for the United States or China or Russia or the EU or motherfucking Bill Gates to give them a coronavirus vaccine.  They did the work and are taking care of their citizens.  This was another thing Cory Doctorow was covering.  Cuba is doing the proper thing.  The US, not so much.  Cuba will be offering the vaccine to tourists, even.  Smart.  Cuban science is world-leading, and their health care system manages to do lots with few resources compared to the US, EU, and China.  Glasgow's Helen Yaffe's work has been all over this as well.  The United States could have already helped end COVID-19 around the world, but instead listened to rotten little creeps like Bill Gates.
