The biggest problems the Postal Service have are political. They were butt-fucked by asshole Republicans in order to undermine the postal workers and their unions and help the dipshits at UPS and FedEx. (Too many Democrats went along with that bullshit, of course; Democrats suck, too.) Restoring the Constitutional role of the
Post Office would be a great political issue, and any decent Dems looking to win some elections would do well both for their own political fortunes as well as the broader economy to make this a major issue. The fact that it would be good for
business and good for America is just like a huge fucking bonus, dude.
