somebody else will win this year. that's something. i really do think they would increase interest in the women's final if they had it on the sunday between the men's final four and championship games. putting it after the men's championship always seems to find most of the enthusiasm deflated. wouldn't putting it in the middle attract more college hoops fans, not just fans of the women's game?
i don't watch much women's hoops, but i was watching a little bit of the pregame on espn-something and caught a bit of abby waner doing studio work. i never remember watching her play at duke--and she seemed to be a completely fine broadcaster for the few minutes i watched--but sweet jesus she's a stunningly attractive young woman. shit.
