Mike Stoklasa is not as funny or as transgressive here as he was in the first couple of Mr. Plinkett reviews, but he does do a good job of blowing up all the fanboy nonsense which tried to defend The Last Jedi as anything other than an utter failure in every sense. What's funny, though Stoklasa didn't really mention it in his video, is that neither Disney nor Rian Johnson had any sense of the overall story for the trilogy after the lukewarm pukeball that was The Farce Awakens. Apparently Disney hired Johnson, and Johnson wrote a script, not knowing a fucking thing or having any idea what the second film--or the third film--would be, so Johnson delivered an incoherent, nonsensical mess and Disney had no grasp on how to fix it. Pretty amazing for a multi-billion dollar franchise. Or a perhaps a formerly multi-billion dollar franchise. This is all exactly the opposite of how Marvel ran their projects pre- and post-Disney, showing the world it's harder than it looks to not be total incompetent fuckups.
