Kyle Kulinski is right: after winning the nomination, Sanders never would have been stupid enough to make Hillary Clinton's mistake. Before tonight, Sanders would have looked to run up the score against Trump by picking the the second-strongest candidate, Warren, as his VP. Not anymore. Kate Brown should def make sure her phone is charged.
Had Hillary chosen Bernie Sanders as her VP, she would be POTUS today.
Bernie is way fucking smarter than Hillary, but Warren will never be his choice now. She's done. Kate Brown is a woman, a Dem, a governor. Picking a woman brings all those vile Hillary identity politics assholes onboard even if the pick doesn't deliver a state. Jay Inslee isn't a woman. Castro had better get his kneepads out if he wants to try and make his case after this Warren bullshit. Klobuchar is scum and Kamala Harris is a cop. Kirsten Gillibrand might be an empty vessel willing to be reeducated into sanity in exchange for the page in the history books. Stacey Abrams lost and works for Neera Tanden. Andrew Gillum is not a woman and lost. Ben Jealous lost, not woman.
Nina Turner would be a fucking dambuster of a pick, but she lost her last race in Ohio, so she's not a winner. Great biography, but I really have an issue with people not currently serving who lost their last race. Dambuster of a pick, though, if Bernie knew he would win no matter what.
Barbara Lee; Rashida Tlaib. Pramila Jayapal and Ilhan Omar were both born overseas. Ro Khanna is not a woman.
So, Barbara Lee and Rashida Tlaib would be excellent picks. Kate Brown is a Dem governor right now.
