Mountain bikers have eaten more shit, been sold more failures and compromises as "progress" and embraced more failed engineering in the past two plus decades than any hobbyist cohort on the fucking planet. Cassette sprockets the size of road chainrings and fragile plastic bike frames are just the start, but there is always more shit to eat and more garbage to buy. Capitalism!
