this is what's wrong with the daycare class of village idiot wannabees.  marshall is part of the 'professional' 'left' in this country, influential for apparently no reason given his dimwitted analytical abilities on display in this piece.  in the piece, marshall agrees that there's a bunch of stuff he doesn't know and will never know about the al-awlaki incident, but he is still willing to argue it's a perfectly acceptable thing for a united states president to murder or assassinate anyone who may or may not be doing something dangerous or may or may not be actively working against the interests of the united states.  since it's totally okay that we will never know, the president can do whatever he wants whenever he wants according to marshall.  this is not a liberal position in any way.  marshall is eagerly awaiting fame and fortune as a fluffer of the establishment in washington, and i am sure he will gladly take his place at the trough of bullshit as soon as he gets the approving pat on the head from the current village idiots.  he is never to be trusted on anything of import.  once again he's shown that he's nothing but a careerist dipshit.

deserves what, i'm not exactly sure, but italian justice is a cute concept, though in real-life it looks pretty ugly.  it would be nice if your justice system was so great that we could piss all over the silly provincials in italy, but we have little ground to stand on in that regard.  still, if they let her go, i hope they give her a lifetime supply of pizzas to make up for the gross miscarriage of justice.  the case is a fucking mess, and all they've proved is that slut-shaming is perfectly acceptable in italy.
