Pavement hasn't aged so well--just a wee bit too much of the smarmy douchebaggery from S.M.--unlike Sebadoh who embodied a legitimately charming sort of innocent, honest lo-fi indie chaos. Still, Pavement made a shitload of cool sounds and plenty of pleasing noise over the years.
Mark Ibold musta been a real bastard in a past life...
