Vox Tries Wicked Hard--And Fails--To Make Taiwan's Single Payer System Sound Bad

They just can't manage it.  Those difficult health care policy and funding questions required under a single-payer system are also required under a private, for-profit system.  Insurance companies don't cover the newest drugs and the newest, most expensive treatments every fucking day.  The most important keys to universal coverage are prevention and protection from catastrophic diseases and emergencies in addition to believing that health care is a human right in an advanced society.  Even Vox can't fuck that up.
