She fucked up. Gillibrand tried to turn the bullshit allegations against Franken into a springboard for her political aspirations, but instead she wound up destroying her reputation. Oops.
For the record, the gossip kids' girls' afterschool politics club doesn't seem to understand that all of the Franken stuff was a lie, a ratfuck by Roger Stone that Chuckles Schumer was dumb enough to fall for. Gillibrand, too.
If Roger Stone was behind it, it was 100% bullshit, and the Dems should have known that.
