Summers was wrong about everything but astoundingly wrong about the economy in 2009 which also happened to cost Obama the rest of presidency after he got pasted in the 2010 midterms. Anyone giving Summers even a single thought on this spending bill should be shot. Politico is reporting that Larry Summers has fans in the administration, though, and is wielding influence to cut the amount of the relief bill, undoubtedly with hot intel from a source named Larry Summers.
