Out Standing. Reuters does an amazing job in this profile of Michael Yeadon of fisking him mercilessly without ever resorting to ad hominem insults and outright derision. It's wonderful and well worth anyone's time to read all the way through to find out how a former scientist debases himself into risible insanity over the course of a year or so.
Needless to say, the consensus was that Yeadon should have known better than to turn into an anti-vaxx assclown, but the evidence is conclusive that he did exactly that, probably because he got all wet and sticky over the attention after his career in research and development had ended in failure. Sad. But fuck him. Cycling Rule #5. The Reuters profile is unrelenting in its opprobrium because it sticks right to the most obvious facts and statements from colleagues and other experts. Fun stuff. Steve Stecklow and Andrew Macaskill did wicked good.
Nobody with any remaining functioning brain cells would listen to Yeadon at all in 2021, but there are some fucking morons who will believe anything. Sad. And deadly to us all. Conservatives and anti-vaxxers are generally the dumbest motherfuckers in any room, so those poor helpless bastards will believe anything, even Michael Yeadon. Don't bother listening to Yeadon, but do read the comments and the Twitter thread to feast on the funfetti of batshit crazy, paranoid, and terrified idiots shitting themselves over basic biology and medicine while at the same time ensuring that more sane, decent, intelligent people get sick, suffer, and die because of grotesque shitheads like Michael Yeadon and the gaggle of assholes dumb enough to not know any better.
