geraldine ferraro, failed vice presidential candidate, failed senate candidate, questionable parent, and enthusiastic fox news commentator has died. while i'm sure she's missed by many who knew her personally--and her family is of course at a loss as anyone's family would be in this circumstance--the disingenuous hagiography of the g.f. the politician and talking head from the village and those who aspire to village idiocy is gonna be unpleasant.
