This kid applied to 200 shitty colleges to collect "scholarship" money.
Which is bullshit.
Unless he's pretty fucking rich, most of that money is financial aid money, including lots of loans, probably, which only a dumbass bagger would call a scholarship.
And if the kid applied early and got into Amherst, Harvard, Princeton, Wesleyan, Williams, or Yale, well, then he's not supposed to apply anywhere else.
The schools and colleges and guidance counselors who encourage this horseshit should be ashamed.
