does perry's ponzi scheme mean romney no longer needs bachmann?

it looks like rick perry is even dumber than everybody thought; he's showing that he not only doesn't know what a ponzi scheme is, he doesn't know how to run a national campaign either.  so, does this mean mittens doesn't need bachmann to slice perry's balls off with the born-again teabagging christian bigots?  will social security checks and medicare scooters do what romney couldn't do on his own, leaving bachmann out in the cold?  now that pawlenty is on-board, romney may be hoping that perry cripples himself so he won't have to turn to that harpy to save his bacon with the morons who vote in republican primaries.
