god's favorite liquor officer, pat robertson, is a national treasure.  through him, and his tee vee show and his video-tape-delay word-of-knowledge miracle cures, god apparently protects america from certain hurricanes, kenyan presidents, and asteroids.  without pat robertson and his divine infallibility, imagine what sort of sick, twisted and unrecognizable hell hole america would be.
