Prolly not a shock that to my eye McLean Fonvielle's frames share an aesthetic spirit with Chris Kvale's frames.  This particular McClean, with the contrasting head tube and seat tube panel, is an especially clear example of that sensibility.  Really cool steel frames from the early days of the American handbuilt racing bike renaissance.  Mr. Fonvielle's legacy of beautiful work is quite remarkable.
