1985 Eddy Merckx Professional, Perhaps, Repaint

Def a respray, but if that's a 1985 Eddy Merckx Professional, then everything is wrong about it.  Fork crown, seatstay caps, rear spacing, rear brake cable routing, logo, it's all improper for an 85 EM Pro, but the rich purple color is nice--not sure it's a mid-80s Merckx color, tho.  Either the frame is not a 1985 Professional or someone spent too much money a completely bungled refinish.  No top tube or tubing decals, either.  At least they are not trying to sell it, so...
