The lockdowns and stay-at-home orders need not have caused much suffering at all, and, in fact, the majority of the suffering was do to a lack of leadership. Suffering was mitigated in some places and exacerbated in others due to the colossal failure of conservative governments in countries such as the United States, UK, and Brazil. Nobody needed to go hungry or lose their jobs or get sick without care, but they surely did. This was not because of the lockdowns, and Glenn Greenwald should know that, but Libertarian Boy...
