frankly, it's pretty clear that obama has governed just as he would have preferred in an ideal world. it seems now that they were so busy deriding the 'professional left' types that they failed to fully understand the situations in which they found themselves. one, that the economy was was well and truly fucked and their weak-tea right wing policies were not gonna be enough, and two, that the republicans were fucking deranged with koch brothers bullshit and boiling racism and were not gonna do anything to help him, even if he offered to dig up reagan's corpse and kiss its ass on live tv.
by they, i meant the fuckwads in the obama administration who so joyfully proclaimed their very serious status but somehow managed to fuck things up so badly that their guy is probably gonna lose to fucking mittens.
