democrats suck as this game

the dems either don't care or don't know how to play this game.  'independent' angus king gets to be a liebermanesque dickhead in the senate because the democrats don't have a fucking clue how to beat him and can't possibly have anyone good enough to get it done.  this is another win for the republicans; even if king will occasionally fuck with them, the republicans believe king will be a reliable anti-obama-agenda iconoclast 'independent' sure to deny the dems a working majority if he gets the opportunity.  if--and it's a huge unlikely fucking if--in practice a senator angus king actually shows some wisdom and decency, and is more sanders than lieberman, it won't be because of anything the democrats did to bolster their caucus.
