Taxing trades is one of the best ways to raise revenue AND control the markets. Pro tip: This is exactly what the government should be doing. Taxing trades is fabulous policy all around. Tom Nichols is not exactly any sort of genius award winner. Ilhan Omar didn't exactly invent this idea, but any elected official who can manage to flicker a one watt bulb should be on board. Nichols is dumber than dog shit and a decrepit old man, so we can painlessly ignore him.
