oakland mayor gives in...should give up

she's a real piece of work.  apparently her story is that she had no idea what was going on, but now she's had backed down in the face of the protesters.  that's a good thing.  let's hope that occupy oakland is able to use this victory to move forward and co-opt support from as many of the rank and file cops as are decent.
