today is a good day to remind you happy campers to do a better job of picking your bank.  there's lots of choices out there and propping up banks who want to screw you harder than the average bank doesn't make sense.  and don't worry about closing old accounts; once you move your direct deposits to another bank and let your old checking account hang around for a while with $1.37 in it, your old bank will very helpfully close it for you.  adios, motherfrakkers.
