The Vigorous Repudiation Of Trump Was Lost Long Before October 2016

Clinton was never capable of leading an overwhelming rejection of Trump.  Clinton is too flawed.  She's an awful candidate and a worse human being.  Clinton will be the POTUS, but she is not strong or decent enough to stand strongly against the lowest scum Trump supporters in America.  A decisive rejection would have been wonderful for the nation, but Hillary has always been the reason this would not happen.
