What Would Sanders Have Done With Trump? (Besides Won)

Sanders certainly would have been quite adept at mitigating some of that Trump pandering to the (formerly steady middle-class) white people who felt betrayed by generations of the conservative political establishment in both parties as their wages fell and their healthcare costs exploded and their good jobs disappeared and their lives became harder and their futures became less secure and their dignity evaporated.  There's no denying that Sanders understood how to address those people--Sanders was all over that shit in the primaries and bludgeoned Hillary with it.  Sanders surely would have done better against Trump than Clinton wound up doing.  (More than a few) people both inside and outside the Democratic Party understood that...
