As Cornel West Lost Status With The Establishment, He Grew And Grew
Connor Kilpatrick in Jacobin on Cornel West. It took a while, but West turned himself into the man he had always believed he was, but it also required the unlikely candidacy of Bernie Sanders to act as the final catalyst which freed West the paucity of hope and from the dishonor of Barack Obama, Inc. Kilpatrick is on the case; this piece is well worth a first (or second) look.
