You Would Be Better Off Getting Medical Advice From Dr. Nick, Dr. Phil Or Dr. Drew Than From This Limey Quack And Lifestyle Brand Suneel Dhand
Medical doctors are not scientists! Unless they have a PhD in a science field, they are often the opposite of a scientist. Get your fucking shots. Jesus.
Update: this guy is a fucking unhinged liar.
Of course they are not. At best, they are "Technicians",in the Medical/Biological field, applying investigations made by others. Main problem is that they extrapolate too much from "samples of one" or very small samples, say "I gave my Patient John Smith a glass of orange juice every day and now he survived Covid" (or any other illness). Ok, maybe he did, maybe it´s even the cure ,who knows? ... but to confirm/discard you need serious studies involving 100s of people, placebo/medicine comparisons, Statistical Analysis of results, etc. regular MDs have NO CLUE of Statistics.
He's a quack. That's true. But doctors are trained to do science and are scientists. Many choose not to pursue that professionally, but many others continue to do research and publish. In fact, many of the most published scientists in the scientific literature are MDs without a PhD. I myself had to do a doctoral dissertation for my MD (most don't have to do that). Many PhDs in biomedical research did their dissertation on a frog enzyme for example. That's one of the main differences between the MD and PhD, the MD has a much broader scope of understanding while the PhD specialized in one thing, whatever he did his PhD dissertation on. A single enzyme, a single receptor, a single molecule. Many MDs do in fact work in pure research and are non-clinical. And many MDs that are in clinical practice dedicate their entire career to scientific and/or clinical research.
it's lovely that you believe that, but medical education is anti-scientific, and md's who see patients for a living are not doing science. certainly there are md's who do research and become scientists, but the average doc is no scientist. it's good to see docs standing up for each other, tho. some things never change...
This guy really worries me because he is a doctor and he is spreading very concerning misinformation about vaccines. He’s pretending to be pro vaccine but suggests conspiracy and feeds into far too often. The problem with this is the white coat syndrome or argument from authority because he does practice actual medicine and isn’t one of the ones who got their license revoked people are more likely to believe him and listen to him and at a time like this leaning towards conspiracy, entertaining it and basically advocating against vaccination is a terrible thing. He’s pretending that the general consensus on vaccines is up for debate among majority or scientists and medical professionals but it is not. Please get vaccinated !!

unless there's a phd after the md, a doctor is sure as shit NOT a trained scientist.
