Understanding Austerity: An American Education

It's a lesson we won't learn, of course, but what else is new; as a whole the American people are dumber than a box of hammers.  Still, I appreciate that a few folks are out there and willing to spread the word against a tsunami of establishment bullshit.  Fwiw, I think Jared Bernstein is another one of those rock-ribbed establishment Democrats who, like Howard Dean, have learned a bunch of shit that they wish they hadn't but are certainly better people than they were.
