Except That The Geometry Of The Aegis Frames Was Not Great

So you were stuck with something that was far from ideal.  What Aegis should have done was get someone like Chris Kvale or Dave Tesch to design the road frames and someone like Keith Bontrager or Jay DeJesus to design the mountain frames, making them legitimate alternatives to the best racing frames.  With that they might have been able to compete.
