Well, The Election Campaign Is Entertaining, At Least

I thought for sure we would be entering a terrible time in the campaign, with the inexorable slog of the appalling Hillary Clinton into the White House, and an ineffectual and unprepared Trump calcifying into the mundane tedium of a hopeless loser.  But no!  We shall have our amusement!  We may be all totally fucked as a hard-right, war-mongering monster like Hillary Clinton assumes the presidency, but at least we will be entertained first!  This week has been the properly insanely tawdry circus for the masses with a promise of more to come, and for that trifle of kindness, we should all be thankful.
