Damn, that is dialed. I am not a fan of plastic bikes, but this Transition Scout is the best-looking plastic full-suspension mountain bike ever. It makes the current Transition Patrol and Kona Process bikes look like shit. That straight line from the head tube to the rear axle is wicked sweet and what made the previous generation of Rocky Mountain Slayers look so good. (Those bikes had shit geometry, but looked great. The 2020 Slayer has better geo, but it looks like a pile of greasy shit.)
The 2020 Transition Scout is the real deal. Super expensive, but decent spec, and at least it's not a fucking 29er. I'm somewhat dismayed that Transition continues picking some ugly fucking colors; the blue is fine, but that other one sucks major ass. I'd also be a bit happier with the 150 rear/160 fork set-up out of the box, but that's a quibble. If Transition comes out with a 2021 Patrol that follows the design aesthetic of the Scout, well, fuck yeah that would be beyond awesome.
