The best takeaway from this (almost) unbelievable story about kids being forced to toss out a lunch because the cafeteria workers were in fear of their jobs is just that: the miserable cocksuckers who run the for-profit, privatized school cafeteria would sure as shit have fired those low-paid workers for giving away a lunch to a hungry child instead of tossing it in the garbage.  Instead of the cafeteria (and the school) being run for the good of the children and the community, it is a profit center for some random assholes.  The wealthiest nation in the history of the universe.  An empire of depleted uranium and mass murder.  Hungry school children.  This is your America.  Good fucking luck.
