as if anybody besides people like
john cole and
imani gandy needed proof that barack obama was an absolute corporate
stooge,
today the white house announced that they would not enforce the
environmental protection agency's updated smog regulations. the obama
fluffers on the tee vee and on the interwebs are twisting in the wind
trying to figure out why the president would make such an awful policy
decision given that this is totally an executive branch matter and not
subject to hostage taking in the house of representatives, a filibuster
in the senate or any random fucktardery from the mouth-breathers on the
supreme court.
here's the proof, not an open-ended threat subject to interpretation,
with no interpretation required: obama surrendered to the u.s. chamber
of commerce, the koch brothers and the teabaggers. with no impediment
to his executive power, obama chose to ignore science and proper
economic policy in order to appease the most ignorant and short-sighted
segment of the american population. barack obama is a man without
principles.
mr. olbermann was pretty steamed over the epa bullshit that obama pulled
today, caving in to his enemies once again and failing to uphold his
oath of office in regards environmental enforcement. as olbermann said,
when the u.s. chamber of commerce compliments you, you are very
seriously, dangerously wrong! indeed.
