Why Wasn't There More Violence In Michigan?

The real violence was against the working men and women of Michigan.  They were brutalized by the Koch-sucking catamites of the oligarchs, so why wasn't there more violence in the protests?  Of course, there was a bullshit Fox News stunt, but otherwise the protesters were surprisingly peaceful as their rights to a living wage and a middle-class lifestyle were savaged.  Was that because they have a secret plan to win in the end?  That would be wonderful but seems highly unlikely.  Or was it because the workers in America have been defeated once and for all?  Is this Michigan disaster a noteworthy step on the road to the  final enslavement of the American working class?
