Ireland really is a clusterfuck.  The death of an innocent woman is more than a tragedy, it's an affront to decency.  The time when superstitious and hateful old fools get to decide questions of health and science and morality is long over.  We can't count on the idiots who run the governments in the rest of the developed world to lead on this; it will be up to decent, sane citizens to demand freedom from the zealots and their followers.
